How can connectivity enhance learning?

How can connectivity enhance learning?

I'm trying to find out how 'connectivity' can enhance learning in schools (I.E. networks and Internet access.)

I have found the obvious things like; saving work on the server, download info from server, etc. but I need more specific information on how conectivity can actually enhance learning. Can you help?
