How can I set up my Cisco 3620 for Auto Attendant?

I have a Cisco 3620, which I use for study. I have configured it as a Gateway/Gatekeeper. I have a voice card on it. At my work place, we have an AS5350, which we use as a Gateway and it runs an IVR, which is loaded from a prepaid calling system (VoiceMster). I configured my 3620 to load the same IVR, but it keeps saying call application not found. What I really want to do is us the 3620 for Auto Attendant. That is, welcome the caller and ask for an extension which is then mapped to an IP phone. Where can I get such script which can be tailored to fit my needs?

Is the address for the machine that you have the application loaded on a private address? If so, you will need to statically NAT the address within your router so that it resolves to a public address or the packets will not be passed over the Internet. For instance, you can not ping a 192 series address (or any other private address in the reserved addresses) from outside of a network. You would have to ping a public address that is set to resolve on the far side to the private address that you have given.

You may be able to find a script on the company website or one of the support sites. It is also possible that the program will only run on the AS5350 and is locked down by MAC address in which case it will not work.

If you set your router up to be a "node" on the AS5350 with the routes you will need another device on your end that uses the IVR off that system. Generally, you must license software for each machine that is using it, so I would be careful and check your software license agreement.
