Q

How can I implement MAC address binding between switches?

Learn what configuration you need to implement MAC binding across switches in this expert response.

We have a 2900 series switch trunked with 3500 L3 switches. This switch is connected with another 2900 series switch at another location via fiber cable. We have 40 nodes at that location. How can I implement MAC binding on this switch?
You need to use "switchport port-security" command on the interface configuration mode. You can define how many numbers of MAC addresses you will need to bind to that port.
