Q

Does XP with SP2 support PEAP as well as Cisco's LEAP for wireless authentication?

I've heard that XP with SP2 supports PEAP as well as Cisco's LEAP for wireless authentication. And LEAP is supported without Cisco's proprietary card/hardware. Is this true?
The 802.1X supplicant included in Windows XP SP2 supports only EAP-TLS and PEAP.

Like SP1, SP2 can be used with Cisco LEAP if a third-party 802.1X supplicant (like Cisco's Aironet Client) is

installed.

But Cisco's card is not the only card to include LEAP. A list of other wireless cards that have passed Cisco Certified Extension testing and probably support LEAP can be found here.
