Can you tell me about voice over packet switched WAN's?
With packetized voice, the actual voice sounds are sampled and placed inside a packet to be routed over a packet switched network. This is different from the old circuit switched network in that a circuit is not set up. The packets are reassembled at the receiving end back into voice that can be understood at the receiver.
