Can I connect a branch office to VoIP services at headquarters over a wireless network? What hardware would be required for this to work?
This really depends on your wireless service, throughput, etc. You would need to have enough bandwidth available on the wireless link, a router at each end to handle the VoIP traffic, and of course the phones. You would not necessarily have to have a switch at the branch, although that depends on the manufacturer. The wireless link would work just like a wired connection providing the path from the branch to your headquarters. I am assuming that the wireless link already exists, if not, you would need that equipment as well.
