I have just completed my engineering degree in computer science. Networking was my favorite subject thought the course and I am looking forward to have a career in it. I've heard about CCNA. Would that be the best choice for me. If so, could you kindly tell me how to register for it and whether or not I should join some class for it and if yes, tell me any reputed institute in Pune, which will offers classes for CCNA.

Thanks for your recent e-mail. CCNA is not a bad certification to start with, though perhaps the CompTIA Network+ might be an even better starting point. If you visit the Cisco Web site at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/learning/le3/le2/le0/le9/learning_certification_type_home.html you will find information about the CCNA there. You will have to access the Cisco-India site to obtain information on locations and pricing for local classes; I have no easy way to obtain such information on your behalf.
Good luck in your certification studies.
