Automatically recertified in CCNA

If I gain one CCNP cert i.e BSCI, does this automatically recertify my CCNA?

You are absolutely correct. In fact, if you pass any Cisco exam starting with 642 or pass your written CCIE, you are automatically recertified in your CCNA.
