Are there security concerns specific to ADSL?

I am setting up a network of eight computers in my office and using ADSL. I am concerned about virus attacks and network security specific to ADSL. What do I need to watch out for?

I would start by making sure your virus protection is up-to-date and that the systems have a firewall installed. Second I would make sure that your users sign an acceptable use policy. I know how it sounds, but there is no better time than now to specify what the Internet connection is to be used for. Patch the machines and stop using IE. Move your users over to Firefox as it's less susceptible to spyware.
