Q

Access Cisco 2600 using Unix OS

How do I access a Cisco 2600 series router using a Unix OS (Solaris) to configure the ports on it?
You just have to make sure that your UNIX box has an Ethernet connection to your network that the router is on and use the command Telnet "IP address" to access the 2600 router. Makes sure that you have vty access configured on your router and that there are no access list that block the UNIX box from accessing the router.
